Last weekend wasn't so great on the Chehalis, was up in the canyon, also tried a bit by the bridge.  Water was high, fast and cloudy, due to all the rain and runoff.  From what I have been reading, this week has been more of the same.  Today however the skies have cleared and no rain in site(knock on wood), if Friday holds the same, then this weekend should be Golden.  Good luck and good fishing.

after all this rain and high water i would bet the Chehalis will be full of coho when it comes back into shape. try walking downstream from the bridge and see what you find.

keeps your ears peeled for bears going through the bush as they are around
