Title: Don't waste time and money going to the Squamish this weekend!

According to hydrometric data, the Squamish has come up 2.5 metres (that's more than 8 feet! :o) in the last 24 hours, making any attempt at fishing futile.

I was hoping to hit it this weekend to try for a fresh chum on the fly away from the crowds, but it is definitely not going to happen.

What he fails to mention is that the river was extremely low before the rain and is dropping steadily now.

Sunday AM should be just about perfect.... ;)

Beg to differ, Sam.
Anything higher than 3.5 metres near Brackendale is too high for productive and comfortable fishing, but to each their own:
