Has anyone fished Chealis recently?  What's the condition there?

Thanks

Too early.

I agree! The timing will also have much to do with the next rainfall, which will raise the water levels and should draw fish into the system.

went up there this morning. The main flow was pretty low and not worth fishing yet IMHO. Need a good 2-3 days of solid rain and it will be worth while. Took a look in the hatchery flow and there was around 20 nice coho's in there. Ended up heading back to the vedder after about an hour of hiking around on the chehalis. Chris was right, its too early to fish the chehalis. On a side note, the Campground is now open again ;D
