Title: Tidal Fraser River, October 9th 2008
Post by: fishbuster on October 09, 2008, 05:26:31 PM
Hit the lower river for the first time this year, now that we have a notice for coho.  Was out first thing this morning and in to fish right away.  Tide was going out. Fishing roe and single eggs. Was able to catch three cutthroat, which were released and two hatchery coho jacks.  Once the tide turned the fish turned off.  No adult coho this trip.  Not bad for the first trip of the year.  I prefer high tide but its to late in the day this week, may try again tomorrow.

5 hookups in one tide change is better than most people driving all the way to the Vedder fishing the whole day. All that time and gas..... Hmmm, are we missing something here nearer home. Where is my bar rig?  ;D  Thanks for the report.

Thanks for the heads up. Have to give the old bouncing bar rig a go. Double trouble ;D
