Which tides are best for fishing the lower Fraser?  I want to try but don't really know when to go.  Also, several times that I have tried in the past there have been lots of fish showing themselves, but no biters for anyone on the bar.  When this happens is it time to pack it in, or persist?  Thanks.

Finally some paydirt yesterday for me.... even a hatch   ;D   Best tide to fish is the whole incoming and an hour after it starts to go out.

I drive by the usual fishing holes on River Road in Richmond.  Have yet to see anything caught this year.  Don't have enough posts so I cannot post in the other sections therefore I do not know how others have done.  The best I have seen is Rodney have a hit that he missed.  If he isn't catching anything, then most likely no one else is.

Have a great day,

Rob.

i have been to derbie reach 5 times since the opening with nothing but a 13''NPM
buddy spent 5 days camping there over the long weekend  with the rods set all day , they released 1 coho jack
we used to get lotts of bullheads but not any more.
