Was on the river bright and early this morning. Fishing was slow. I was able to find a hatchery coho jack and lose another at my feet. Besides that, I saw 1 spring hooked and thats it. Water was in good shape.

is it getting clearer as the days go on, or has the visibility stabalized? If its getting clearer then it'll be perfect sat/sun, med to clear water, is good.

Young gun, water was almost 4 ft vis when I left at dark. It gets slightly clearer as the days go on... but it will not stabalize, clay will come down in waves whenever currents change or some other variable occurs. The slide has screwed things up big time. Worst part is they are expecting rain on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so the river will probably blow out in that case :'( The worst part is the river can be fishable in the morning and in 2 hours it could be 0 vis, kinda sucks for all you guys that have to drive from Van, at least I can just walk home ;)
By the way if you want to do some fishing the water is clearer than I want it to be, I would reccomend going at around 7:30-10 when the sun hits the water. The fish seem to turn on as soon as it gets sunny, but as soon as it gets hot (around 10 am), the bite turns off. Night bad has been poor at best. Have not seen many caught after 10 am.
