As a friend has a cabin on Domenic, I was there for some fantastic fishing today.(We went up thursday, but the dock was burst and needed repair) Lots of caddis, mayflys and dragons popping up and hungry fish jowls to gobble them up. We stopped at Paska on the way out and talked to a few folks who proudly showed us a 5 pounder they took about an hour before we got there on a halfback. If you get a chance , zip up to the interior as the fishing is the best I've seen in years. And wear your long johns, as it was - 4 this morning and frosty outside. I know the buzz is about the Vedder, but....

It's spelled Dominic Lake ;) Both Dominic and Paska lake are located Northeast of Logan Lake, acess is via Paska lake service road or Greenstone Mountain service road.

ooops- I'm a great fisherman, not a great speller. ;)
The Lake that begins with a D is pretty hard to access, although you might be able to launch at the lodge. Paska is on the way in. Take the Logan Lake off ramp from the Coq and watch on the right for the signage..
