Title: Nymphing for westslope cutthroat trout
Post by: Rodney on September 02, 2008, 05:46:35 PM
Last month we did a trip to the Elk River system for westslope cutthroat trout. Here are a couple of short teasers.

Looks like a GREAT time.  Intersting camera rig to get in close!

Cool! I have never had a chance to fish the elk yet.  Over on this side of the mountains, the locals were (are) totally mad about the re-classification of the ELK and wigwam because it costs 20$ per day to fish it.  Doesn't sound like much, but it adds up pretty quick considering its only a 3 hour drive from here.  I'll start saving up now and will give it a try before I leave here...
