ok ive always had braided line on my reels for my main line, than i use mono for my leaders

what is the norm for main line . usually fished with floats/salmon

15-18 lb maxima ultragreen for springs.

Try 20lb P-Line Fouroclear.

Just as tough as 15lb. Maxima, half the price, and next to invisible in the water because of the flourocarbon coating, use it for leader as well.

I was a Maxima junkie before trying this stuff. Now any fishing I do that is salmon or steelhead related is done with Flouroclear.

for coho's I use 12lb maxima main line and 8lb P-line leader material. The 12lb casts soo much nicer on my pin
