If you want to do a little fishing with it try Duncan Bar in Abby/Ft.Langley or 2 Bit Bar or Derby Reach. Derby Reach is the only ones with picnic tables but all three places have been known to produce jacks.

Than go to Alouette Lake Park. Huge area with picnic tables. Also its gorgeous being inbetween the mountains.

If you're in East Vancouver, why not give Trout Lake a try. I was there last Sunday for the Veterans' annual picnic.

Cates Park is good too, just over the bridge in North Vancouver
