Title: Lower Fraser July 12
Post by: DragonSpeed on July 13, 2008, 12:20:04 PM
The fishermen were so thick you would think it was Sockeye season.  There were probably 50 fishers in a 60 foot area.  It was crazy. Nobody was fighting and a few were catching.

I personally saw about 20 fish caught.

I thnk it was 1 pikeminnow, 1 peamouth chub and 18 bullheads ;)

That's right... it was Fish for the Future, and those fishers were new kids learning to enjoy fishing without pressuring each other and how to handle the fish.

A good time was had by all.

I don't have a tidal license, so all I could do was help :)

:D wheww had me scared for a second. good on you for helping the little kids and for taking the time to make sure the next generation of fishers are polite and have good river habits.
