Hello there.
If you know or have the same rod, I would appreciate receiving detailed information/specs on the Sage GFL8113-3pcs blank.
Thanks.

I have one, its a shooting head rod 8 wt 11'-3" . kinda fast.

Hey jetboajim, thanks...looks like the cp rod in your pic.
The Sage website does not list this GFL8113, is it discontinued? Would like to have a copy of the factory specs if someone has it?
Another question: Will this 8113 be suitable for centrepin use if I have it custom-built?
Tx

Thanks Nuggy for the idea of emailing Sage.
-
any idea how close this rod would be to the z-axis 8113?
-
Thanks to Team Sage for their quick response in providing the information that I seeked as follows:
"The rod you have was a Sage 8113-3 Two handed rod and saw its last production year in 1996. The blank weighed 3 11/16oz and was
considered at "faster action" two handed rod and would be recognized as a "switch rod" for today's fly fisher.
Specs: Line wt 8 Length 11'3" Sections 3 Blank wt. 3 11/16oz Rod wt 5 3/8".
Drop me a line your experience and opinion about this rod, if you have the same rod...either as a fly rod or a centre pin.
cheers.
