Was at the Pool at 5PM Saturday, not risers, no fishermen either. Not a good year. Hopefully everything is late this year. ;D

Went to the Cap on the 28th and was there around 6 am. There were a couple fo guys at the cable pool and I immediately saw the frustration on their faces.
I was chucking spinners and saw one coho ( or larger trout) go after it for 5 seconds and it gave up as I was up on the cliff and reeling the spinner too fast. I'm glad it didn't bite.
There were a few jumpers in the pool but no bites. We decided to go sight seeing to the dam and the hatchery.
I was pleased to see the coho in the hatchery tank just gliding along with no worries.
Later went back to mouth and cast there a few times, my buddy hooked few pencil sized trout and that was it.
It was way to clear and hot.
