Tried out my new electric motor setup on the pontoon boat on Mcfarge lake then went to the highland /haggis ripper day at the park nearby. The wee, well fed Otter was doing it's best to wipe out what remained of the fish in the old gravel pit. I caught not a thing but a draft up my kilt. The pontoon responded favorably to having the Haggis/Otter choppin motor off the back. Scorching day though and managed to burn spots of the body that were not lathered in sun sauce and the bonnet.

Your pictures are dated June 28 , 2 days after they stocked the lake with 1340 trout weighing an average of 350 grams . If you look at the top picture there are no raisers , why ????? . There is no way the otter could clean out the lake that fast . I have fished lafarge a few days a stocking and not getting a single bite ,could they have stocked the wrong lake ??????? Maybe on paper in went to lafarge but operator got lost and stocked some other lake .

I watched him feeding, his bite was on. He was chasing them right into the shallows at times.
