Title: Capilano River, June 3rd 2008
Post by: Eagleye on June 03, 2008, 10:37:54 PM
I guess I missed out on the action as the fishing is slow now with the drop in water levels.  Caught 1 steelhead around 8 pounds and didn't see any risers.

Yeah I enjoyed shaking hands with a Cap steel but that's not what I was after.  It was a beautiful specimen but not in it's prime.  Had it been earlier in the season I would be more pleased with myself but at this time of year I try to avoid them.  The thumbs down is regarding the lack of coho in the river; the target species in June.
