Title: Kawkawa Lake or Jones lake
Post by: fullahead on June 01, 2008, 09:03:04 AM
Wanted to go fishing next week Kawkawa or Jones Lake.
Has anyone been up to Kawkawa Lake lately? I was wondering how the chironomid fishing is up there, the first two weeks in June?

I have not been to Jones in years, was wondering how the road is for taking a boat and trailer up to the lake.  Is there a power restriction on the lake? I will be taking a fourteen-foot boat, with a twenty-five-horse power outboard.

Kawkawa Lake is prime time right now. Watch for water skiers.
