Title: St Mary Lake, May 24th & 25th 2008
Post by: Rantalot on May 26, 2008, 11:03:51 AM
Hit St.Mary's this weekend and what a blast the fishing was not great but the fish I did hook were Large  ; 8)The Bass was very slow which kind of surprised me a bit but the trout fishing more then made up for it,my biggest was about 5lbs or so and lost a few other decent ones since i forgot my net at home:( Saturday night the lake was glassed over and very large large trout were rising everywhere and was watching this kid  nailing them one after another using a croc spoon go figure:)Sorry Rod but this time we stayed at green acres a much better place and the boats are included:)

Good to hear you were catching trout. I'm going up in June. What was your choice of flies/lures to catch em on?
Thanks
