Had our family fishout on White Lake last weekend. My cousin has an awesome house right on the lake.
Nonstop action from 10:30 to 2:30 each day on chironomids in the #14-18 range, mostly chromies. Fish were to the small side on the shoal in 16-22' of water. Larger fish to 2 lbs could be found at 36-40' using chronies on a full sink line but I find that method too boring to stay at it for very long. Personally, I like to alternate retrieving my floating lines keeping my eye on both indicators. Had so many doubles I couldn't keep track.
Hopefully some larger fish will move up onto the shoals for those who fish this lake on a regular basis. Cheers!
