Fished a local lake by Mission today and was surprised that there was still snow at 1357 feet. This is like a month behind schedule. It had some affect on the spawning cycle of the fish and it was hard to get some none spawny looking Cutts. Managed to get two home for the fry pan. Rain chased me away at about 4pm. Good hike in and out got some exercise and picked up a dozen or so beer cans. On the down side had to eat a bunch of anti inflammatory non psychotic drugs for my gouty foot to make the trip at all.

Sorry to hear about your gout foot. It's painful. Get your doctor to prescribe you allopurinol for your gout... and drink lots of water.
