Title: Chilliwack River Apr. 20
Post by: Knife on April 20, 2008, 11:15:41 PM
Got to the river about 4 pm. After a 15 min. walk I arrived at a spot i had been to last thursday. I had released one about 8 lbs.that time, caught on a 4" pink worm. This time lost 2 in the first hour, both on blades. Decided to leave the pool alone for awhile and head upstream. No luck, the water had dropped quite a bit since thursday and all i did was lose gear. First cast with a jensen egg, and the fight was on. Released a 10 lb. hatchery doe. An hour later at 8pm. i had just changed to a silver blade, first cast floats gone and this time i released a 12 lb. wild doe.
