Today I went out fishing at around 5:30... I decided to go to my regular spot and started fishing with roe sacs. After nothing for about 1 hour and a half of fishing through 4 or 5 runs I switched over to a spoon.... I realized soon after the was a double rainbow in front of me (and I joked about maybe it would have a pot of gold at the end ;D ;D) from the rain that was pouring down on me... I snapped a couple pictures and started working my way back home. A few casts later the float goes down and out popped a big Steely. I tangled with him for about 15 mins and got him to shore. He was a buck, about 14 pounds and a hatchery. He was still really silver with red just starting on his cheeks but I decided to let him go anyways. Hopefully everyone had a great day, mine was great! And there is gold at the end of rainbows!

Lol I cant wait! Main reason I decided not to kill it was because I didn't want to start filling my tag before next season, since I seem to finally realize what I was doing wrong before and now I'm connecting with fish.. Im gonna go tomorrow after the river clean-up maybe Ill see ya guys out there 8)
