some notable things i bought this from last spring was a sage launch6wt., a calcutta, and about 200 bluefox spinners (they were on a crazy sale)
-
Throw in the money spent on trips and I'd really be in trouble if the wife finds out :o
BTW, If you're serious about spinner fishing, do like I do. Make your own. You'll get a better product at a fraction of the cost.
Most notable item this year is the 80 lb. thrust, 24 volt minn kota terrova with auto pilot and co pilot.

I think the way you divided the $ catagories is a little silly. I'm sure there are a lot of people that spend 1-5k and 5-10K but definitely not many that spent a million.
-
i shouldve put something like 1-3k then 3-10k , but really what fishing gear do people buy for anything over a thousand bucks, do people switch up theyre setup each 2nd month?????or buy gold hooks, whats the point adding another sage or g-loomis to your 20rod selection? but then if you got the money....... why not

but then if you got the money....... why not
Exactly my point. You seem to be doing a minor demographic study on the members of the board. Wouldn't it be more accurate to have categories to cater to all members rather then just the frugal ones?
I easily spent $800-1000 on gas alone for fishing trips. Not to mention tire patch kits etc. If you strickly speaking of gear purchased at Tackle stores you should specify that. I personally spend a lot just in tackle stores. Not including rods and reels, i've probably spent about $1000 in the past year on small items like hooks, swivels, line, flies, fly tying material, lures, etc. And on top of that I bought new waders, boots, centrepin rod and islander reel to match, diawa luna 300, a small pram, fish finder....Then again, there isn't any type of fishing i don't do or try.
-
I dont buy major stuff usually, havent got new waders or boots, rods or reels, vests. On little stuff i spend close to $500 a year. Any bill $10 and over gets delivered to a fishing store. (or Nat's Pizza ;D)

wow! alot of millionaires on this forum

This was a pretty light year for me as i never made any big purchases.
300-600 bracket.
I can see an expensive year in the near future though as the waders, coat and boots need replacing.
