Post by: HARLEY on February 06, 2008, 11:29:41 AM
Does anyone know where I would be able to buy Panko Bread Crumbs-I live in Chilliwack and looked
every where for them, some people have heard of them but nobody that I have talked to knows who sells them.

Try Save On Foods. That's where I got mine.

Thank You for the information-I will try there-Which Save On did you buy the product in-I was told at the store here that they did not have them.

Thanks,

I bought mine at Metrotown in Burnaby. I would imagine that Save On in Chilliwack should carry it. If not try Safeway. It's a common ingredient.

What is it? Spicy bread crumbs?

I found bread crumbs to work better than flour for cooking in oil. You can cook at a higher heat and let the bread crumbs burn a little without over doing the fish and the flesh on a coarse fish like bass fall right off the bone.

They are Japanese Bread crumbs, lighter than regular bread crumbs.
