Yeah, I know most of the lower mainland missed the snow, but we in Burnaby got hammered. (http://dragonspeed.wordpress.com/2008/01/27/the-tale-of-two-cities/)

I sat out in the sun like an old Labrador Retriever yesterday-had no idea how bad it was in other places until you put up the pics.

I had envisioned the opposite.. that the whole city had been snowed in, and that Metro Vancouver would be paralyzed.  Then I find out from my friend in Richmond that it's sunny and warm. :o :o :o

Oh well.  The shoveling was good excercise  ::)
