Title: Fluorocarbon leader

 I would like to buy one of this Seaguar products:
   -- Seaguar Carbon - Pro Fluorocarbon Line
   -- Seaguar INVIZX Fluorocarbon Line
   -- Seaguar Fluorocarbon Leader Material.
 Which one is the best for steelhead,salmon fishing? Would apprecate any advise.

I've got the Seaguar Fluorocarbon and it works well so far.

i use PLINE CFX flourocarbon leaders exclusively.... hands down the best flouro i've used.... and i think i've used them all.... from salt to river to lake chironimid fishing.... seaguar is nice stuff..... but see my first sentence  ;D

I prefer Frog Hair, especially for still waters but it's pricey unless you can buy it in bulk spools off of ebay.

hey allwatysfishin!

tell me a  little more about your pline cfx.why is it the bomb? how much $ and where do you get it? the guys i talk with all say that segar or frog hair is the way to go. I'm wondering why you love this stuff?

I will put a vote for P-Line as well.  Actually all of the different lines by P-Line are far superior to any that I used. 

The CFX Flouro should run about 8-10 bucks depending where you get it.

after using many different types (maxima,frog hair, p-line , seaguar) Seaguar blue label seems to be the toughest one I have tried. All the others are ok but none of them stood up like seaguar. It seemed to have a tougher outside coating and it is not soft like the maxima or frog hair is. Those products work fine for fly leader but for river fishing with split shot or pencil lead seaguar has been outstanding. They are also the inventors of fluorocarbon for fishing line.
