Anyone here want to share their techniques?

Sockeye was closed this year.
-
Closed huh? That's sucks. Anyway, how would you people catch 'em if it wasn't closed.
-
I like to fly fish for sockeye. I used a sink tip and a large pink leeche. I casted it out into a school of fish, mended and let it drift. This worked very well for me. The fish in my display picture is a sockeye i caught used this method.

We were on a guide and fishing in a smaller channel so we were able to hook a sockeye on a fly. I personally think fly fishing is awesome for them because they bite and the sockeye in my display picture is on the fly.

But kellya what are you F boming about? The fact that we were fly fishing for them or that no one has mentioned about flossing for them?

BentRods Guiding & Fishing Co. is saying that they can entice Harrison sockeye to bite their jigs using a special technique, though.
