Post by: Zach on November 11, 2007, 05:17:04 PM: I like to fly fish for sockeye. I used a sink tip and a large pink leeche. I casted it out into a school of fish, mended and let it drift. This worked very well for me. The fish in my display picture is a sockeye i caught used this method.

We were on a guide and fishing in a smaller channel so we were able to hook a sockeye on a fly. I personally think fly fishing is awesome for them because they bite and the sockeye in my display picture is on the fly.
