Post by: fish bait on November 11, 2007, 10:07:23 AM
I'm going to head out to norrish creek tomorrow and I'm going to pull out the fly rod for a try.  but I'm not quiet sure on the fly i should be chucking for coho.  any input would be great.

muddlers, green wooly buggers, xmas trees, mickey finn, its really more about presentation than the fly itself. I have caught coho on almost everything.

How to present the fly for Coho? I was told to cast upstream and let the fly drift downstream. Sometimes I see a fish swim up to my fly, look, and swim back down.  I haven't caugh any coho on the fly before.  :(
What's the secret?  :)
