what do you use borax wax or soap and where can i find it,i don't want to throw away my coho roe

someone on here must know how to make salmon roe,i've gone looking througfh the internet but doesn't say very much,so i figure i would ask fellow fishermen,and i know a lot of you make your own

You can buy borax at any grocery stores such as Save On Foods. Make sure it's the 20 Mule Team Borax and not Boraxo. It comes in a green box.
