How is chum fishing in Lower Fraser? Any one cares to share what is the best way to catch some fresh chums in Lower Fraser (from Langley & down river)? Do they like lure more than roe? If so, what type of lures? Thanks.

They can be pretty hard to catch with one method or the other. If you get a big school coming by roe might work or lures. I never really tried to catch them in the Fraser because there were Coho to be had so why Chum it. Were they school up at the mouth of a river they are entering will give results. With the hordes in the Stave just past Langley you might as well go there and fetch yer dog.

Thanks for the response, but now Coho is dwindling and chum is starting, so that is why I want to Chum it. ;D The Stave has nothing but ulgy dogs. The Squamish is a long way out and recent reports are not very encouraging. New run chum in the Fraser should be chromer and closer from home. :)
