Hello fishers, managed to get some time for fishing this weekend. Went out with a buddy to a well known part of the bow river in town. Anyways, the summary is that the bow is fishing REALLY well right now... no insects hatching except midges, so the fly choice is really easy. Heres a couple of the fish we got... my buddy got this really nice 22 inch brown.

pretty fish...
-
that brown is a beaut. how are they as a fighting fish, never caught one?
-
They fight pretty well, firstly because they sometimes get really large, but also they have really large fins for their size. This is the year for brown trout it seems. Last year I only caught 5 or so... this year it is about 50%

Making me envoius :o

Something fishy about that brown's head with the digital camara. Makes it look like a photoshop. Not that you want to make your fishes head look bigger. I guess that those cameras do that. Nice fish. :)
