My buddies and I were heading up to a river and i thought to myself we should have a sturgeon hatchery. I told my friends and they agreed. Since the depleting numbers of river sturgeon in B.C., i think people should create sturgeon hatcheries to bring back the abundant numbers.

Sounds like an awsome idea :D

I believe Inch Creek already has been raising sturgeon... Anyone who visits there can see the brood fish they have in storage in the pond.. That and all the nice cutts/rainbows that hang around in there too :)
Cheers,
Nicole

Those are the sturgeon snacks. They have been known to surprise them and suck them up.
The hatchery is located off Bell Irving Road I believe. Just look for the large blue signs near the Nicomen Slough.
