Went my usual late afternoon as I had some biz in Abbotsford and first blow out day of the season. River was way up and no visibility. All the slower back water was filled with debris and nothing biting at all. Actually found a un-opened Kokanee bobbing around in a back eddy that looked like it had quite the ride. Just cracked it open and still fully carbonated. ;D If it's yours...thanks!
Weather was unbelievably beautiful and the full moon was a great cap to the day. :)
No chance in my opinion that it's worth going on Wednesday as more rain is in forecast. I'd guess should be getting good again just in time for sunny Saturday & Sunday.
Tight lines!

Now thats fishing, nice catch dude!

Nice, a fully carbonated "land-locked sockeye". Put up much of a fight? ;D ;D
-
Did you floss it??

Unless I'm missreading the regs, there is not retention of Kokanee on the Vedder. ;) ;D ;)
-
Probably catch and release. It will just take a couple hours to set the kokanee free again. ;)

Thanks for the chuckles guys. ;D
Actually at the time of posting that I totally wasn't even thinking of the tie in with the fish.
Did I read somewhere that there's actually Kokanee in Cultus Lake?

Not many, but there are some that reside in the lake. Chilliwack Lake has them as well.
