Got up nice and early, got the roe out of the fridge, loaded up the truck and drove off to Tamahi by 7:30 or so this morning. Yup, the river looked pretty blown out and pretty high. Funny how it becomes a whole new river in a few days. A few guys were standing under a few branches and tossing their wool into the mucky water but I figured that maybe another hour and a half drive was a better idea, so back home I went. I'm hoping that there will be some positive posts today and for everyone else's sake I hope I made a big mistake. I'm willing to live with that kind of pain.

I donot think you did, I will check it at dark but it is very mild now, more snow melt?

Thanks a million Chris. If I knew that it would be fishable tomorrow I'd go out. Can it clean up and drop that much in a day?

Yeah the river didnt look to good today... High and silty. But from Thurston it was 2 feet vis, and got better the closer you got to Limit. Everyone was a Limit, or Tamahi today. ::) I fished for a couple hours but didnt get any hits, nice day anyways.
