Hello Everyone,
About this time last year I went up to the Seymour River, up to the end of Riverside Drive, down the steps, and within the hour I snagged/released a good sized dark-coloured male Chum.
Does anyone know about whether or not it's catch and release on the Seymour?
Has anyone seen any fishing up that way. Instead of heading out West to Garry Point Park to attempt some crab fishing and see what else I can catch with my rod and reel, I was thinking about heading to the Seymour?
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks fisherforever,
It must have been a chinook last year.
I think I'll re-spool my reel, put on some light line - 10-12lb and check out the Seymour!
Cheers,
Joe

the chum are a little late this year, that pool is called 88 good little spot.the river is pretty much blown right now and they have shut down the gvrd because of the weather.high winds = falling trees. after this storm passes it should be looking good , with the river being high it should bring some fish in the system.
cheers
