Title: (NFR) Loving your family even if they don't remember you
Post by: river walker on October 17, 2007, 09:23:32 PM
On september 23, my father decided to get out of his car to assist in a serious accident on his way to work .
The ACCIDENT WAS ON HIGHWAY 91 ON THE s CURVE.   In turn my father was hit by a car and thrown into the bog .
He suffers a brain injury and a broken pelvis .  He is not the man he used to be and never will be im sure.
If any one has info ....
please help

Ryan

I'm sorry to hear about your father, my best wishes and prayers are with him/you.  On a side note, I have been recovering from a brain injury also, it has been a long road and I can truly say that the love/support, prayers, and optimism of those around me have made all the difference in my recovery.

Hey River Walker,

Your Dad works with my wife. She speaks very highly of him , and he is in her thoughts a lot since the accident.

I know how family dynamics work out. My Father and I had an estrangement for about 5 years ... it took him having a major heart attack for us to come around ... since then we have never been closer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and tyour family.
