boil your ribs for 1 1/2-2  hours before BBQ them , add about 2 tbsp of red wine vineager to the boiling water with salt and pepper, , after boiling pull out and cover with bbq sauce or honey garlic sauce in a bowl, let sit for a couple of hours,  bbq after that or toss in the oven...

One of the biggest secrets is having a good cut of ribs (big ones that aren't trimmed).  T&T Market sells them for a good price.

If you have the time, you can also smoke them!  Season with salt and pepper and garlic cloves and put them in your Little Chief for about 6-7 hours with only 1 or 2 pans of chips so as to not over power the flavour of the meat...  Then you can transfer them to your bbq for the last 15 mins and add your favourite sauce.  Oh, the garlic cloves will have become soft (like roasted) so if you so choose you can mash the garlic across the ribs as a spread of sorts.  YUM!  ;D

Not that difficult.  Boil them in beer until they're almost done.  Throw them on the Q with a little bbq sauce to baste them in.  The beer really tenderizes well.

Heat a pot of water to boil (very important).  Put the ribs in about 20~30min.  Take it out.  Preheat your oven to 375 F.  Set the ribs in.  Bake in the oven for 40 min. and done.  Sauce just use your regular BBQ sauce or whatever you prefer.

one other thing I forgot to mention.  When on the Q, use indirect heat.

Real good ribs are never boiled.
Follow Mooses recipe and you cant go wrong.
Even better if you do the oil and spice thing and then wrap in Saran wrap and leave in the fridge overnight.
Pull them out an hour before going in the oven to get to room temp or close.

I allways did the boil for an hour thing too and will never do it again after doing the rub method. ;)

Put them in the slow cooker with your fav sauce. After 3 hours the meat falls off the bone

I will boil them or sometimes not. ( I think it's an optional step) The kicker is to slow cook them for hours (4-6) continually basting them in sauce.  I do it on a BBQ on indirect heat with a drip pan and water on the grill and some smoke chips as well.
