Title: Using commercial cure mix
Post by: Skunked Again on October 15, 2007, 09:53:17 AM
Hi Guys, I'm sure everybody has a different answer but when using Procure or Atlas curing mix how long do you like to let the roe dry before you bag it.  The directions said 2 to 48 hours. I realize temperature and humidity will affect drying time but under average household conditions how long do you think is a good time.  Thanks.

I leave overnight, approx. 8-10 hours.

Thanks FA, I'll have to try that next time.  I left it about 20 hours this time.  Seems a little rubbery but that should be ok.   Then again what do I know, I seem to really be living up to by alias these days   :'(
