Title: Capsized
Post by: Sandhead on September 22, 2007, 10:24:55 PM
Anyone see what happened to the boat that was upside down on the (kilby)  Harrison this afternoon? Did it get swamped by the crazy fast jet boats blasting through? Was everyone alright? that's a scary place to go into the water, crazy fast current

Amazing the number of people out on our waters not wearing floatation devices.

Crazyness!

We were out there the weekend previous in a small boat, and yeah the bigger boats don't have much concern at all for the little guys. I understand that you need to be running at a bit of speed with a jet boat but the harrison river where it dumps into harrison bay doens't have that strong of a current.
