Title: where are all the deer...

so my dad was up in the okanagen looking for deer this past weekend and didnt managed to find squat.... I am heading out oct 1....and need to find something.... anyone been out.. what do you recommend...


anyone know there way around the goldbridge area...?

my girlfriend has a cabin up there and knows that place like noone else. I might be interested on a couple days hunt in that area (on the weekend since I'm at bcit full time)

I was there this summer, and thers lots of black bears, seen a few grizz and yes deer. I've seen more white tailed than muleys.

just got back from my lucky spot for early blacktail........ seen one doe  :o
for the last 6 years.... that's by far the fewest deer i've seen sittin in that spot.... generally in a day there would be at least a half dozen morning and same at dusk.... and the odd buck
will try again next week.
now i gotta find someone to go moose hunting...... no partners this year.. they are on duty in ahole-istan

Well....there is a nice meat buck in my freezer.... ;)....then once any buck opens in region 8, there should be two more in the freezer....mine and my 13 year old sons....!!!!

i'm goin october 15th for whity's got a spot where we counted 40 does in 2 hours and then the bucks will be trailin them in the pre rut. Then november 11 i'm goin for muleys! oh ya.
