Title: First Pink
Post by: flatlander on September 11, 2007, 09:29:16 PM
Caught my first pink today.  Got out in around 4pm for a few hours.  A little slow but managed to Hook into three fish.  Landed two with one getting away.  Thanks to everyone for the tips on where/how to fish for pinks.

Those lures will produce, sooner or later, if not pink salmon, it'll be coho or chum salmon. ;)

Thanks Rod.  Appreciate all the great info you constantly post on your site.

gheart008 send me a email.  I saw lots of pinks out there tonight.  I've got some great help from members on the board and maybe I can help.

This reminds me of my first Pink experience two years ago.  I was new to salmon fishing back then, i somehow found this site and started browsing FWR EVERDAY since.
I had tough time catching my first salmon too when i started.  Thanks to all the valuable infors i gathered here on this site, from Rod and other great members, i was finally able to catch my first one at the Vedder, near the end of the run. :)  and believe it or not, i caught my first pink salmon on the fraser just last week, at the Brownsville.
Be persistent, gheart, they will eventually connect with you !

Good Luck fishing.   ;)
