Fished the outgoing tide at first light today and managed to land 3 pinks! Buddy with me landed 1 pink and had a coho break off with a spectacular leap.
What a memorable outing, we were using pink spoons. ;D

Congrats to a nice outing. Where did you fish this morning? Bruce on the other thread seems to suggest very few fish in Richomnd.

Today the fish weren't rising much but there were decent schools moving thru still. Any place where you can fish from will produce fish you just gotta be persistant and keep casting until you intercept the fish ;)

We fished a couple of hours from 4pm to 6pm during the incoming tide this evening with Fishersak, Vince and his dad. Very few fish surfacing. I missed a good hit, so did Vince. My dad managed to connect with a chrome doe. Fishersak and others are still out fishing, maybe it has picked up since we left as the tide gets higher.

I'm too cheap to spend money on gas. ;D We also like to be the first ones intercepting them once they enter the river. ;)

I was out on the south arm from 6-7:30 tonight and didn't see anyone hook into fish, other than one guy who hooked something small that broke off before it could be seen. Saw 2 fish rise the whole time.

He phoned a bit more than an hour ago and reported 3 fish landed between 6 people just before dark, including his first retained doe of the season. :)
