Hi everyone, i am going to whistler for some trout fishing, can somebody tell me what fly i should use for cutthroat ? I am planning to fishing in Alta lake in whistler.

for alta lake the best fly is murrays rolled muddler and second is a traditional rolled muddler, both in sizes 8-10. leeches also work and catch both cutts and rainbows but if you want the big boys stick with those two or a minnow (sticklback) pattern

what's the difference between the Murrays and the traditonal? Since Tom Murray created the Rolled muddler wouldn't that be traditional?

no the tradiional uses that turkey stuff and murrays has a wing of deer hair instead an crystal flash

Take some of these, they work very well for lake cutts...
