Hello Everyone,
During one of my scouting trips to Richmond (to see if the pinks were running) on Sunday morning, there were two fellas down at London's Landing, out for a quiet morning fishing for pike minnows and sculpins.
Lo and behold they hooked into something a little larger than a sculpin; they hooked into and lost a small sturgeon. The small Fraser sturgeon was 3-5 feet long, unknown, as it didn't fully surface, but there was no mistaking it for anything else but a bony sturgeon.
Cheers,
Joe
