Although with the Canadian dollar so strong I don't see why you don't buy the same rod a lot cheaper in the USA.

if you are a fan of G-Loomis, they are now made in Canada; least the one for the Canadian market.

so I Picked up a Fenwick HMX Med. Action casting rod with a Calcutta 251

Goin to give'r a try tonight.

thanks for the tips on E-stores....  In the past when wanting to buy fishing stuff online, I have found the prices in Canada are not as competitive as American stores with less selection as well except for luremaking.com which his pretty good.

Cabelas, Tacklewarehouse, Bass Pro Shops, CaptainHooksWarehouse (great deal on hooks).
