Title: Capilano River July 12, 2007, 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Hello Everyone, :) :)

I should change my name to "Skunked"  because I'm sure I'm the unluckiest freshwater fisherman alive. :'(

Headed down to the Capilano last night between the Cable Pool and the Cable Pool Bridge - it was up about a foot - and of course, the coho were jumping and surfacing, but I got no bites.  I was using lures of many varieties.

5 were caught: 1 at the Cable Pool and 4 (2 released) caught around the bend, below the Cable Pool on the west side (he didn't tell me exactly where).  All are using roe.

If I go to the Capilano before August 1st (bait ban starts), I'll have to get a hold of some roe (or may be even try worms).

Anyways, story of my life!  Best of luck fishing!

Cheers!

Joe

Hey ,

Getting skunked is all a part of the game. Just always keep a good PFA and you will get into some sooner than later. :)
