Post by: island boy on July 07, 2007, 08:57:01 PM
took the wife and son out for a boat ride down the vedder to the mouth. when we were comming back to barrowtown pump house boat launch, some guy had a sturgeon on rite at the launch. we watched him bring it in and was 6'8". it was the first time i've ever seen one. had no intrest in that fishery before but that was something else. new rod and reel in the works. so there not just in the fraser.

i don't know how long it was as we got there at the end, but there were 3 people in a small half rotten little wooden boat. the guy using the motor did a great job of moving around and positioning the boat. neat to watch.
