Wanted to get the new boat out for a run/fish (yes...those that know our old boat won't be seeing it too much ;D) so we headed out from Fort Langley yesterday am....headed up river and hit a few of our favorite sturgeon holes without too much success.....
ended up going up to/in Harrison mills bay.....boy was the river high still, didn't think it would have been still as high as it was.... :o
Another thing that suprised me (I guess it shouldn't have... :o) was the number of boat below Island 22 that were bottom bouncing...!!!....Island 22 looked a little wet (high water) but there was roughly 15-20 trucks/trailers in the lot mid afternoon....
Nice sidenote...saw several (larger) springs porposing in the lower Fraser along with some cutty action in a couple of locations and some Jacks (?) jumping at the mouth of the Stave....
Nice day out, screwball weather though.......

Sounds like a good time. Fish on the line is a bonus... some days we don't hit the bonus ;)
