I am thinking about heading to some lakes near Whistler that I have little to no info on at all. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the lakes I list are in fact fishable and if they are on private property.The first set are in the 'Black Tusk' area - Retta Lake, Pinecrest Lake and one unnamed lake above Pinecrest. I see that some of the mentioned have been stocked with things in the past but are they wrecked from development or off limits ? Second is - Shadow Lake which is across from Daisy Lake . Does anyone want to help me save some time ?

The best thing to do is call Whistler Fly Shop. http://www.whistlerflyfishing.com/

Good idea ???. I'll pop in before I head out. I want to fish Daisy around the confluences of the Chek and the Brandywine more than the others mentioned but It would be nice to know what the deal is. There is supposedly nice brookies in one or two of 'em and theres always Lucille.
Thanks B

you again! ::) lol jk
just go to alta lake or nita, although i can tell you one of the best spots for rainbows and bulls is fitzsimmons creek by the golf course. Just park at nicholas north and walk down the beaten track beside the golf course and you will find yourself at a big creek mouth. For rainbows the best fly was a olive sparkle leech by far with nymphs not really producing because the murky water. I wouldn't waste my time with the upper cheak, although there are some nice rainbows they are pretty hard to catch but hey i haven't fished it in a long time so i could be wrong. But definitley nicholas north fitzsimmons. Also minnow patterns work really well for the odd bull trout.
