Strange. No body is posting on the Cap, not in this or any major forum. Are people keeping quiet or fishing is just not worth reporting?
-
maybe no one from this forum has gone over fishing yet. I know I have not, so nothing to report. Others may choose to keep it to themselves so they can try and get some uncrowded fishing conditions if it's been good.

Water is low, fishing is slow, fish are dorment.

starting to clue in.

The water levels are low and people/fish are being tight lipped. You'll have to check out the river yourself. ;D
-
Just got back from the cap and the water looked perfect, I dont pay much attention to the water levels when river fishing salmon, when the salmon have to spawn they will enter the river if it is 6 feet deep or 6 inches deep. Didnt see much action around the mouth, but I checked out the hatchery where I counted around 6 fish behind the glass.

hahahahahaha! thats all i have to say.

Water has gone down quite a bit from last weekend as of yesterday, and it won't be long before the few fish in the river right now will be scooped...
There aren't many around, I saw nothing surfacing last weekend.
Scaled those cliffs at least 4 times, and I could barely walk for two days!
Nothing to show for it either, except for the excercise.

Nope not me, I was up up high yesterday... This was my second time out, getting to know the river, and man are my buns sore!
One of the brothers was flyfishing? Cool!
Dion, was a smolt, adipose clipped. Tomas got a nice wild rainbow the day before, around the same size.
I picked up the gear rods tonight, and steely roe. watch out coho...
Cheers,
Nicole
