Myself and the_roe_man decided to make our way to allouette in search of some kokanee. After getting a couple large double doubles we were on our way. Arrived at the lake around 8ish. Water was very calm with lite rain the whole day. Had lots of fun catching kokanee on all sorts of gear from fly lines to small flashes with a dick nite spoon. Ended up keeping our limit and called it a day around 12:30.
Pictures to follow
Cheers

Thanks for the report! I'm gonna head there Thursday morning. Hopefully I'll have some luck and something to report :)

I highly recommend stopping in at either of the tackle shps in Maple Ridge and pick up a couple flies for the Kokanee at Allouette.
They are actually a lot of fun on a light rod.
You will also still catch the Cutthroat and Bows with these flies as well. ;)

All we ever use is red doc spratleys and they seem to work great. Do these stores sell a special pattern for allouette?

Doing that this afternoon on my way home from work. I already have a few but as any fisherman will tell you....you can never have too many...lol I am also thinking about trolling deep for some lakers or dollies while fishing surface areas for kokanee....not holding my breath though!
